New Year with Plenty of Gratitude

I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on this past year. If you would have asked me a year ago what I think I would have accomplished, seen, and done in this past year I wouldn't have even fathomed what the year had in store for me. In 2018-2019 I choose myself and I am still learning how to choose myself. I took the leap of faith- ended a relationship, left my what I thought to be my dream job, beautiful apartment, my family & friends to become a travel nurse. From this opportunity I have met so many amazing people along the way and been reassured by my beautiful family and friends to keep going as long as I love what I am doing. I am seriously so grateful from all these encounters for they have in some way or another given me guidance and help build who I am today.

I do have to say back in September I kept having run ins with Nicoles. I have honestly never had so many interactions with Nicole's in a short time span. Haha! My roommate in Napa was named Nichole. My friend from nursing school who I stayed with in Hawaii in September is named Nicole. A new coworker I met during my travel nurse assignment is named Nicole. Also a friend from High school had come to Napa, with her husband and two other couples, her name is Nicole! And no joke the night before she was going to be in Napa (when I found out) my servers name was... Nicole!! I was shocked thinking that this was no longer a coincidence. I texted my step sissy Jennifer to ask what the correlation was since she and I are on the same wave length with spiritual beliefs. I knew about number repeating but not so much names. She explained that it is the universe catching my attention and letting me know that I am on the right path. A beautifully humbling moment.
