Before I left the nursing job I had to pursue travel nursing one of my coworkers, Janelli, asked if I would go on this trip. I without any hesitation said yes! It was a Contiki that toured through London, Ireland, and Scotland. The trip was initially 17 days but we decided to extend 3 additional nights. This has been the longest trip I had been on so far! I am so happy Janelli had asked me to join! It was a blast we were actually in Ireland for St. Patricks day which was amazing!

I really had no expectations for this trip but it was incredible to learn about the extremely deep history of these areas. I am still trying to wrap my mind around all of it! And yes I am currently watching Outlander haha There was a lot of awesome people I met on this trip as well! It's honestly my favorite part about these trips. Meeting so many people from all over the world.

We got to see the land where the Battle of Cullden took place. We got to watch the Quarrymen (group that John Lennon and Paul McCartney played with before they became the Beetles) in Penny Lane's community center. We got to have Jameson in Cork at the Jameson Distillery Middleton. I had Scotch whiskey. Searched Loch Ness for Nessie herself. We walked on to the Giants Causeway. I went with some of the girls on the trip to go watch a football game! We saw Northern Ireland vs. Estonia. Northern Ireland won the game so that was an added bonus haha. I had a dark and stormy at The Spaniard (which is where the cast of Game of Thrones would go and get drinks after shooting.) I had Guinness in Dublin which was so delicious! We went to the place the Titanic was built in Belfast. I ran into a friend, Marla, from Miami who I initially met on my first Contiki to Spain. I kissed the Blarney stone. We stood on top of Hadrians wall. I even go to walk upon the grounds of Stonehenge and see Bath.

It was all in all a surreal trip! I am so happy I had been able to join in!
